Masters of Teaching

I teach English at a community college.

I was on the hiring committee to fill a vacancy in the English department,

I recalled my own interview anxiety from years ago.

We interviewed six candidates,

We agreed on our favorite candidate, the one with a doctorate.

We laughed at the thought of hiring a candidate with a “Masters in Education.”

I love my teaching job.

I am a favorite teacher and I enjoy teaching.

I have a Masters in Education.

Jinny Moore retired from teaching six years ago. She now lives in Vermont where she is the only Broncos fan for miles around.
