Alice Drink of the Month: Water

Drink a large glass of water (eight big gulps) when you wake up in the morning. Most of us hydrate throughout the day, but then sleep for 8 hours without a drop. Our bodies are thirsty when we wake up! That morning breath? Dehydration. Add a couple drops of iodine or a scant 1/4 tsp of iodized salt to the water if you have a sluggish thyroid to rev up your metabolism.
